Individual gauges will fail on 96-02 models with the fuel gauge being the most common. When the fuel gauge fails it will typically not register below a 1/2 tank, causing the driver to run out of fuel. Backlighting can have portions go out and will be replaced during the rebuild, if requested. The green bulb covers will not be replaced.
