This is a part you will install. You will NOT need to send us your cluster for repair.

This part is shipped and easily installed by you, or your vehicle technician. Your instrument cluster will need to be removed, 4 simple connections will be made, and your backlighting will work after reinstalling. The VDLS Controller listens to your vehicles data stream to see when your instrument cluster background lighting should be on or off, and retains full dimming properties with ignition on for all six settings. If your instrument cluster backlights don't work and the rest of the backlighting operates normally this kit will resolve your issue. If you have no lighting anywhere on your dash then you may possibly have a bad headlight switch.

Installation is easy, just connect the provided harness to Ignition Power, Ground, CAN High, and CAN Low wires using our easy to understand video. We'll also provide an easy to understand schematic for your vehicle. The VDLS controller will operate the Electroluminescent Panel behind your gauges after you plug it into the panel. No soldering, no cutting wires, easy install that typically takes less than 15 minutes after your cluster is removed. Check out the installation video below to see the simple install.
