The most common issue with this unit is a failed odometer and tripmeter, but also fails to fully power on known as "dash flash." This repair will repair your odometer/trip and rebuild the main power supply. Your backlighting will be replaced and the cluster cleaned. When shipping it is a good idea to use a box bigger than you think you need. The lens can be easily broken during shipping if it is not packed properly. The lens cost is over $400 through Mercedes if it is broken.

These are old parts. This repair will cover normal operating problems and age issues with the electronics. If your part has been unprofessionally repaired, suffers from water damage, or any other outside influence, additional expenses can occur. When shipping you must send the entire instrument cluster to avoid damage during shipment. If this is ever the case, you will be notified of the additional expense and only be charged return shipping and a $50 bench test if additional cost is declined.
