
The most common issue with this unit is a failed odometer and tripmeter and covered by the standard rebuild. Tachometer, clock, and rheostat failures can also occur. If you are experiencing auxiliary gauges failures (oil, fuel, temp), your issue is likely a failing sender or wiring. We can test the gauges during repair, just mention it during checkout. The base Level 1 repair will only repair the odometer/trip operation. Additional cost will be incurred for additional repairs needed.
These are old parts. This repair will cover normal operating problems and age issues with the electronics. If your part has been unprofessionally repaired, suffers from water damage, or any other outside influence, additional expenses can occur. When shipping you must send the entire instrument cluster to avoid damage during shipment. If this is ever the case, you will be notified of the additional expense and only be charged a bench test and return shipping if additional cost is declined. - 3 of the 5 odometer gears are replaced. (The 2 gears that are not replaced are made of a much harder nylon and will not fail without outside influence. The gears we install are of the same nylon and 100% US made).
- All backlighting bulbs are replaced at your request.
