The common issue with this unit is a failed odometer and tripmeter which is covered by the Level 1 Rebuild. If you have a bouncing speedometer, it is best to replace the cable. The Level 2 Rebuild will cover the disassembly of your rheostat to control your backlighting and repair all poor connections, along with raising knob tension. If your backlights flash at you when adjusting the dimmer or going over bumps, Level 2 will repair your issue. - Your Instrument Cluster is inspected, disassembled, repaired, and cleaned.
- Lead odometer gear is replaced with a US made part (this will not affect a km unit).
- All internal parts are lubricated and inspected for proper movement.
- 5 year, unlimited mileage warranty (Light bulbs warranted for one year)
These are old parts. This repair will cover normal operating problems and age issues with the electronics. If your part has been unprofessionally repaired, suffers from water damage, or any other outside influence, additional expenses can occur. When shipping you must send the entire instrument cluster to avoid damage during shipment. If this is ever the case, you will be notified of the additional expense and only be charged return shipping if additional cost is declined.
