The common issue with this unit is a failed odometer and tripmeter which is covered by the Level 1 Rebuild. If you have a bouncing speedometer, it is best to replace the cable. The Level 2 Rebuild will cover the odometer and disassembly of your rheostat to control your backlighting and repair all poor connections, along with raising knob tension or a clock rebuild. Level 3 will rebuild clock and odometer. Level 4 will repair tachometer and odometer. Level 5 will repair odometer, clock, and tachometer. Level 6 covers all common issues with this unit by rebuilding the odometer, tachometer, clock, and rheostat. If your backlights flash at you when adjusting the dimmer or going over bumps, a rheostat rebuild will repair your issue. These are old parts. This repair will cover normal operating problems and age issues with the electronics. If your part has been unprofessionally repaired, suffers from water damage, or any other outside influence, additional expenses can occur.
